Denbury gets Montana oil field flowing again

The company started injecting carbon dioxide into the oil reservoir, called the Bell Creek field, in southern Montana in March, building up pressure in the oil field. The technique, also called a tertiary (third stage) recovery, is used on mature oil fields where oil production from traditional means has dropped.
